Distribute up to four different HDMI inputs across two connected displays with full switch/split control, plus optional SPDIF and Stereo output. Perfect for 4K video and streaming services with Ultra HD support up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and 4K@60 4:2:0 + HDR10. In its most basic mode of operation, this true Matrix can manage four source devices across two 4K displays with easy remote control input selection. Any display can receive any input simultaneously. Robust EDID control with automatic downscaling options provides for mixed 4K and 1080p display configurations, or set-and-forget modes for specific resolution and audio format combinations.
Audio extraction allows any active HDMI input to be duplicated out via TOSLINK for 5.1 channel audio, or TOSLINK and STEREO for 2.0 channel audio. If an ARC-enabled television is connected to OUTPUT A, the audio stream can be optionally directed to TOSLINK A. ARC is not returned to any input, and the audio format from the display must be stereo or a compatible 5.1 surround sound format.
Full HD 1080p@120Hz & WQHD 1440p@60Hz are also compatible using the ‘Copy Output A’ EDID mode. Mixed-Mode downscaling is available only for a 4K primary and 1080p secondary display when both screens are served the same input, and only when a downscaling EDID mode is active.
