HDMI Over Fibre Cables have redefined themselves in the Avencore Carbon Series. These cutting-edge cables are capable of 8K@60Hz resolution, and can work with HDR content as well as 4K@120Hz, 1080p, 3D and other modern HDMI 2.1 features. No external power or special hardware is required, simply plug-and-play like you would a standard cable.
Our Active Optical cable uses a combination of copper and optical wires to transmit high-speed 48Gbps data up to 70 metres, allowing for the very best in 8K & HDR content to be delivered over distances that regular HDMI simply can’t achieve. Ideal for decentralised home theatres and commercial installations where source equipment must be far from the display.
With a 4.8mm cable diameter and plugs measuring only 19mm on the widest diagonal, they are suitable for a wider variety of installations than other cables.
