DisplayPort HBR3 cables deliver up to 32.4Gbps for compatibility with 8K hardware, and the Avencore Carbon Series Active Optical DisplayPort range can provide that same blistering-fast bandwidth over longer lengths than conventional copper cables – all the way up to 50 metres without the need for external power or special connections.
Our Active Optical cable uses a combination of copper and optical cores to transmit HBR3 speeds while minimising impact from EMI and RFI sources, allowing for the very best in 8K/4K/FHD content to be delivered over distances that regular DisplayPort simply can’t achieve. Ideal for decentralised gaming rigs, VR headsets and commercial installations where source equipment must be far from the display.
With a lightweight 4.8mm cable diameter and metal alloy plugs measuring only 20x12x42mm, they can go where other DisplayPort cables can’t. They also feature NO locking tabs, so there are no buttons to push when removing the cable from a device.
